Snow Makes Me Feel...
Snow makes me feel cold.
Snow makes me feel sad,
When I can't go outside and play.
When snow gets in my boots my toes tingle.
When snow touches my skin
it feels so very, very cold to me.
That's how snow makes me feel.

The Blizzard of '96
Once on Janury 6, 1996 it snowed a blizzard. It snowed 30.7 inches. It was so high it almost went up to my knees. I yelled. I fell in the snow. I had to go with my mom to the store. They only had bread and milk. I was mad. One boy took the last bread and an old man had taken the last milk. After that we went to another store. There was a lot of milk and a lot of bread. We were very happy and bought a lot of bread. We gave some bread to some of our neighbors. They gave us quarters. We gave them back. They said thank you very much. I was happy, so were my mom and the neighbors. We came back and shoveled snow. My dad and my sister were shoveling. My mom stayed inside and watched the baby.

Snow Poem
When I go outside
I look up to the sky
And I see the snow
fall down
to
the
ground
I take a deep
breath and jump up
high high enough
to touch the snow
falling from the sky.
I fall with a thump
right on the snow
Then I get up and
get ready to go

Challenge 4
The Peaceful Snow
As I sit by the window looking at snow fall I think of a cool breeze running across my face and as it falls onto the ground I think of a white christmas and as I look out the window it looks so peaceful. Oh what a beautiful sight to see.

Challenge 4
The Blizzard of '96
The first day I was amazed when the weather man said that 27 inches of snow was falling. I dashed to the window and to my surprise there was the snow. When I tried to go outside snow fell into my hallway. I quickly closed the door. The next day I finally got outside and, wouldn't you know it, I had to jump off my steps. I am glad to be in school now. The End.
